Live Wedding Painting

 Recently, I had the joy of doing a live wedding painting. From talking to guests to refining pieces of the venue onto canvas, I learned a lot. It took a lot of time, effort, and listening to the stories of how the couple met! Getting to know who I was painting added to the layers of excitement when finishing this piece. I am so grateful to be a part of someone's special day and capture it in the moment!  My prices thus far for live wedding painting are $850. This covers my gas, the canvas, and the time it takes to add all those special details from your big day! I work on a 16 x 20 canvas, but for a lower price, I can do 11 x 14. In the Beginning...

There was an artist. After many years, paintbrushes and crusty paint pallets, filled sketchbooks taking over half the basement, and tears, a decision was made. I have made the leap to not sheltering my creativity but instead standing naked (metaphorically) and letting it all hang out. Terrifying, I know. This comes with many joys, but also with your boyfriend asking you "why does he have cloudy with a chance of meatballs shoes on?". Man, I don't know, the person commissioned me asking me for those shoes (they did in fact not ask me for that). Regardless, I am taking a step into a light that feels right for me. I wanted to hold myself back because I was so afraid of failure, and feeling like I was in control felt more important than actually taking the steps to be in control. I want to take this as an opportunity to see myself succeed.
